Reble continued his one man assault against the selfish whores and was quite enjoying himself when I happened to come into teamspeak. I also wanted to play and asked him what he was up to and he told me the story of the selfish whores and the one man jihad he was running and why. Well; being the whore loving guy I am I thought to myself maybe I could help as Commander. The answer is yes, one man kamikaze crew and a satellite recon are hard to beat againt Chopper Whores, and you want to talk about taking the wind out of someone’s sails, all I can say is it worked amazing.

Our new “Vice Squad” was a load of fun, not great use of aircraft in a normal game, but against Chopper Whores I highly recommend it, and in Rebel and my case we had the additional pleasure of exacting a revenge of sorts by fouling the whores plans so regularly they began to freak out doing all kinds of weird stuff that was also very entertaining.

Specifically what we did was this.

• I played as Commander
• Rebel stayed airborne looking for whores
• I kept the Scan running constantly (and watch for whores)
• I would call out locations of whores to Rebel in teamspeak, and spot them on the map
• Rebel would tell me when he had downed the whores
• I would wait a short period after whore downing and fire Arty on the Helipad
• Repeat as required ;)

I also of course would be doing the normal Commander stuff of dropping supplies, UAV, and Arty for the regular troops, but I paid special attention to the dirty whores and Rebelbass.

By doing this we ended up each getting a medal every game and about 40-60 points a game in a server with about 20-25 people on it. The Chopper Whores got so mad they switched sides to team kill Rebel and keep him out of the air (they later apologized for the teamkilling, they were just so pissed LOL)

The Bottom line for me is that until EA fixed the support imbalances and other major issues it currently has I will have to continue to support doing whatever it takes to win the map and kill the enemy, (if I get points along the way great). I hope that EA pulls a virtual rabbit out a hat with the next patch, or we most likely will just be changing whore tactics. As without balance the easy Global Points will always be very attractive to many people.

I like who there are people like yourself who refer to these players as "chopper whores" when really its a group of players working together as a "team" you know.. Teamwork? To defeat the enemy. As such they are rewarded for working together. The same can be achieved with the APC's just not as quickly but still effective. All this article is about is a whiney pilot who sounds like wasnt working well with those ready to crew and got what he deserved. As there is no reason to abandon a Pilot who is effecitve. Especially if these were indeed "whores" they would want such a pilot. But then again some people are narrow-minded.. The game encourages team-work, you are rewarded for it. Can't do so? Tough.

Teamwork is fine....but point farming is wrong. I was recently in a game where a Heli was in unkillable because of these tactics (many engineers). They all had over 100 pts and beat everyboy to the cp's. Not fun for the rest of us. If u hit a Heli with a tank round in real life....it goes down...PERIOD! Can't wait til they fix this

I think there needs to be a change in the way engineer kits work, I have also seen this, I was in an AAC and was gunning the crap out of an APC and the dame thing just wouldn't blow. I ended up killed by the driver of the APC. So I assume it was packed with engineers. What should happen is the that the engineers should have to exit the vehical to repair it, which is more realistic and more challanging, just like in RTCW ET.

Your arguement has no merit. Since the pilot was originally flying the groups to begin with, then he too must be a "point whore" by definition. I think coming up with creative ways to get lot's of points i.e. hellicoptor rides, is what the game is all about. You need thousands of points in order to gain rank in this game. Do you realy think EA expects people to get there by scoring 10 points in a single round? Don't be a damn retard. For people who aren't trying to gain rank, let them run around in the streets taking pot shots here and there. For those of us who want the big score, we'll do what we need to do to get it. If you don't like it, F-you, go play on a map with no hellicoptors then. Quit crying like a little bitch and play the damn game.

yeah i agree, rebel sounds like one of the "whores" himself, that he was trying to take revenge on. I like to fly myself, but there are lots of other things to do in the game, and I usually just use the chopper (or plane) on a first come first serve basis. If somebody else is already waiting for it to spawn, I let them take it and wait for the next time around. In turn, I HATE those *bleep*s that will run up in front of you (when you're obviously waiting for the chopper) and steal it out from under you. I think people doing that are the real whores, and deserve a good KICK.

Standing waiting for equipment is the worst kind of whore! Equipment campers care mostly for their own points. and add little to the game (or a win 90% of the time) IMO.

Not so, if you don't wait for equipment now and again, then you may never get a piece of the action. Trying to get hold of that 2 man chopper can be a pain. The way I play it is, I try to get a chooper the first time the map starts, after dying, I then respawn at another location, making it fair for others who want a go. Then later try for one again. The worst people are those who team kill so they can get the choppers, this has happened to me numorous times. The other type is those who jump into a jeep or tank and imediatly floor it, not waiting for all the others shouting Give Me A ride. These are the people that spoil it for the rest of us.

If you have ever played on a server where the people split into even squads, give each other rides, heal each other, support each other, obey commands from a competent commander, laugh at good kills or a nice knife-fight, share armour....if you have ever played on a server where choppper pilots wait for you instead of turning the gun on you so a friend can gun for them, where you dont get punished when you accidentally run over a team-mate then get out of the hummer and revive him, where you don't get punished by the 1 artied team-mate who ignored your warnings... where the text messages arent rife with racial and homophobic slurs but instead "attaboys" and friendly info about the game for noobs... where spawn camper/rapers are warned and tossed by attentive admins.....well if you've ever played on a server like this you are one lucky S.O.B. cuz I'm sure it was on another planet!....I bet it was a thing of beauty though....sigh

Need I say any more to add to that retort. That made me feel better just reading it after reading Private Army Barmy. Let me guess Light Infantry right? Need I say more about the IQ test score required to act as cannon fodder? Anyway back to chopper whoring. God I hate it. It's almost as if they follow my spawning pattern, gits. It annoys me that I'm the one dying but it also annoys me that I'm not in on it, I feel ashamed to say. The reason being my next unlock gets further and further away with each one I earn it seems. I'm not that interested in my stats I just want better ways to kill someone (not wanting to sound psycho). But there are cunning ways to take them out that don't involve team killings etc etc etc. I am currently having a great deal of luck (jinxed!) firing the grenade laucher in through the side door, normally taking out three or four of them whores. Quite often including the pilot, which is handy. If not the pilot then he's soon sent away with his tail between his legs leaving flag in tact. Not only do you get the kill points but the flag defence as well, handier. Mushtar city, which is a great combat map, is spoilt by the chopper whores, US team players especially. Naff all stingers, not in the right places anyway. This in truth is the only map I really have any real whoring trouble with but it could be easily fixed by EA if they chucked a few more stinger sites randomly across the map and out of the way of the normal flight paths (as the crow flies). Maybe for other maps as well? I have read the arquements for it and in all honestly I believe it quite legitment. Otherwise there's no point to having the BlackHawk, remember land based players have easier healing, re supply options. They have the ammo crate and and the support classes close to hand in a well organised game. The chopper full of assault would have to fly across very dangerous skies to fix it'self and we all know that when they're about to blow they blow. Yes the pilot can try to find the crate below him or the odd tank with an engineer in but who wants that hassle? The only real justifcation for it is that and flying from battleships. But this could be best remedied in two ways and that is one, take the guns off the side or two, random stingers on the problem maps.

I was wandering if anyone else has had a problem with the pilots in the attack helicopters flying And sticking only the nose of the aircraft into the red zone and killing you (the passenger). I really hate having to put C4 on the helicopter before I jump in. The way I look at it, is if they are going to kill me, I will kill them...unfortunately I get punished for a Team Kill. Does anyone know of any other ways to stop them? Although typing a message to them right before you blow the chopper, telling them "They are about to die" is somewhat satisfying!!!!

Some people such as myself just play the game because it's fun. I don't always go for any paricular vehicle but I like to try a variety of things. Sometimes the hellicopter. If people are waiting I just go to something different. I don't get a lot of points but someone has to be the victim. How can you all take this so seriously? You might enjoy it more if you treat one another as if they were sitting next to you.

Well, what can i say. I think its a skill to be able to fly chopper good, i certainly cant, im crap at chopper flying. But i agree, there are a lot of people out there who rack up points. But you can get high scores without being a whore. For example, i get 50-70 points per game, just by putting the upgraded (twice!) medic gun on single shot fire and picking people off, i you get hurt then heal yourself. You still gie sometimes but if you're good, can get away with only a couple deaths. Its a fun competitive game, so if people try to ruin it, ruin it for them by finding some way to kill enemies effectivly, or if its your team launch a kick vote saying what they have done, or changing server if necesary. worst map for chopper whores is by far mashtuur with the baclhawk V1.2 should had sorted it a bit my making the blackhawk easier to shoot down but unless the MEC chopper has miniguns it's still biased towards USMC

Love the game and see people racking up points as mentioned previously and at times people have killed me and brought me back to life right b4 they hop into the helo and take off-I enjoy the game and enjoy utalizing voip as it is a very effective way to make the most of the experience. I also allow those waiting-not trying to butt in, but that are waiting for a vehicle to spawn- simply let them have it and figure out something else I could do to serve the cause. Play on my friends.
