This is the best way I’ve found to get points fast, but it requires a full compliment of a 6 member squad willing to work as a team to pull it off, and even then with good counter measures the enemy can destroy you often making it very difficult to pull off. The idea is to have the good pilot as a medic as well as the 2 gunners should be medic/support for a total of 2 medics and one support class in the chopper; the other 3 seats are filled with wrench wielding engineers. The mission of the chopper is a simple one: take flags, and when possible repair/supply ground troops, armor, and equipment. It is not the Chopper’s job to hold a flag or take out enemy armor, holding flags is a job for ground troops and vehicles. So be ready to do a lot of running away.
The execution The pilot: flies from flag to flag taking the flags (very fast with 6 member team), while keeping one eye on the other members in the chopper as often the entire support team will be taken out of the open seats by enemy fire leaving only the pilot, if this happens the pilot better be ready to bug out or the next shot could be the killer. If the pilot does some evasive maneuvers and gets away to a safe distance the dead crew will then spawn on the squad leader in the chopper and effect repairs. (Usually the pilot is the leader and the medic, as he is the least likely to get shot out of the chopper.).
The wenches: always ready and repairing the chopper the second it takes a hit, if this is done then it’s very difficult to sustain enough damage to be destroyed before the damaged helicopter can be repaired. The engineers should also mine positions when appropriate, mining has several advantages, but the mines can get team kills so be careful, (on the plus side the support crew will get supply points for restocking your mines and grenades). ** Spawn point must be set to pilot/squad leader.
The support/medic/gun crew: keep shooting the guns at the enemy, and restock or heal other squad members. ** Spawn point must be set to pilot/squad leader.
If you have a good squad on the right map (with some support from the rest of the team) your squad can own a map, keeping the flags in friendly possession for the majority of the time and racking up massive points, and getting awards, badges, medal, ribbons and such.
